The school was established in 1994 by Mrs. Monir Almassi in memory of her mother “Eftekhar Hashemi” who passed away very tragically in 1992 in her hometown of Kermanshah. She had the biggest influence on Monir to have her children learning and sustaining the Farsi language and practicing the Persian culture. Many children and adults have developed skills in reading and writing Persian during the years of the school existence.

One-hour classes are held at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee on Sundays, between 10 AM-2 PM. Classes run during the school year, September – May, and are open to all ages at any level.
